Down Under
The land down under in a nutshell. I left a 5000 km dust trail across the continent. First impressions, uninformed opinions and mundane observations of antipodean life.

Perth
The second city tucked away in the Southwest. Inaccessible and possibly not even worth the journey, but then, I was pressed for time.

Sydney
The cultural and economic capital of Australia - no matter what they say about Canberra! Botany bay, the Blue Mountains and loitering on the docks!

Red Centre
That's the colour all right. This eerie monocolour desert landscape is probably the most religiously significant part of the continent for the aboriginal natives.

Western Australia
Tropical Northwest Australia. Halls Creek, Katherine and croc-spotting in the surrounding wilderness. We arrived in the tropics covered in days of desert dust!

Northern Territory
The empty quarter. The least explored expanse of the outback. A last great wilderness. It' what I came for.
